Esther Heideman has made it her life’s mission to use her musical gifts to heal people. As an accomplished classical singer, Esther has performed as a soloist with top orchestras and opera houses, most notably the Metropolitan Opera, Carnegie Hall, The Kennedy Center, and the New York Philharmonic, as well as other major concert halls throughout Europe and Asia. Using the knowledge and understanding of sound and vibration she has gained from being a classical singer, Esther wants to bring the healing power of vibration to you. Through Tibetan Singing Bowl Healings, you can experience the uplifting, joyful energy she feels standing on the stage surrounded by hundreds of orchestra and choir members.
Having lived and performed in Asia, Esther first came across singing bowls while visiting a Buddhist Temple and was mesmerized by monks chanting and using singing bowls in their sacred ceremony. The sound and vibration imitated the euphoric feeling she gets from performing on stage and she was immediately overwhelmed with emotion and intrigued by this healing art form. Several years later, a ballet dancer friend of Esther’s was battling cancer and her Oncologist suggested healing singing bowl treatments during her chemotherapy. She was too weak and overwhelmed to exercise or get a massage, but the bowl treatments were gentle enough that she could receive them to help with her energy levels and increase her immune response.
During the Covid-19 lockdowns, Esther connected with a Tibetan Singing Bowl Master from Nepal, who started working with her on this ancient art form. She now serves the Washington, DC area with this technique merging her accomplished classical musicianship with this powerful treatment of sound and vibration.
